Super Eagles star says he’s ready to face Egypt after recovering from food poisoning

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi has revealed that he is ready to face Egypt after recovering from food poisoning.

He was the first foreign based player to arrive the Super Eagles camp in Abuja ahead of the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt.

After the reports of his hospitalisation, the 19-year-old took to Twitter to assure that he will be ready for Egypt clash.

Nigeria will play the Pharaohs of Egypt in Kaduna on Friday, March 25 with the return leg to be played in Alexandria on Tuesday, March 29.

Egypt are on top of the group with maximum six points after beating Tanzania at home and Chad away while Nigeria are second with four points after a win and a draw.
