'I found condoms in my wife's bag'

Isaac Dachen | 12:10 | 30.03.2016

What would be your reaction if you found a pack of condoms in your spouses' bag?

 This is one worried man

"Dear Pulse,
My name is Noel and I have been married for four years with no fruit of the womb to show. My wife, Nancy, works in a bank as a senior manager and she has been averse to the idea of our having children just yet as she says that would disrupt her career progression.
Most times, especially during her ovulation period, she denies me sex and would even prefer sleeping in the guest room. I even suspect that she has aborted about two pregnancies.
Nancy takes her job more serious than running a home and most times, I have to do the cooking and other household chores, especially when she has to work during the weekends or come home late, with the excuses of meetings.
Two months ago, I had cause to believe that my wife has been cheating on me when I stumbled on a text message sent to her by a man she registered as Otunba. The man is a big business mogul and it turned out that my wife was his account manager. The message from the man was to the effect that he really enjoyed the weekend they spent together and how much he loved the way she made love to him, expecting another of such soon.
I made my calculations and found out that it was the weekend Nancy told me she was travelling with her boss to Abuja for a banker's conference. After that discovery, I began monitoring her to gather enough evidence. That was when I stumbled upon a roll of condoms in one of her bags, the one she uses whenever she tells me she is travelling.
Some condoms were missing in the roll. I confronted when she came back home, half expecting her to apologise but I was shocked when my wife told me she does what she has to do for her career progression. She even had the gust to tell I can get a divorce, for all she cares.
I don't know what to do now. I love my wife so much and I am willing to forgive her but she is not even ready to change.
What do I do?
Noel."
Dear readers, on Morning Teaser today, we want you to talk to Noel and tell him what he should do in this case.

Why Obama went to a ballgame in Cuba after the Brussels attacks

(CNN) As the Brussels attacks jarred Europe and sent shockwaves through U.S. politics, President Barack Obama stuck to his agenda: a speech to the Cuban people and a baseball game. Critics such as Republican presidential candidate John Kasich railed at Obama for failing to return to the U.S. immediately. But the President argued that sticking to his schedule denied terrorists any victory in their goal of upending daily life. "The whole premise of terrorism is to try to disrupt people's ordinary lives," Obama said Tuesday in Havana when asked if he had second thoughts about attending the game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cuban national team. The clashing approaches offer a window into the president's worldview -- his desire to emphasize long-term interests over short-term emergencies and project calm at a time of high public concern. It's a dynamic that has sometimes caused him problems, leaving aides concerned that Obama's cool ...
