Two persons have died in an early morning fire incident which razed over 100 shanties in Kuramo , near Lekki in Lagos . The Director of Lagos State Fire Service, Mr Rasak Fadipe told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the burnt bodies of a man and a woman were recovered at the scene. " The shanties spread to about four plots of land. We got information that the fire started at about 3.15 a.m. "Information we got was that a young lady was cooking in one of the shanties and there was a fuel container nearby, which ignited the fire and spread to other parts. "It took us about four hours to put out the fire. My men did not know there was anybody inside while they were fighting the fire. "We met the man and woman in two different locations roasted after we finally put out the fire ,’’ Fadipe said. The director said that the corpses were handed over to police officers from Ilason Division, who later took them to the mortuary.  courtesy pulse.ng

British singer, Adele , has been left feeling unprotected after a crazy fan posted private pictures of her, including one of a baby scan, online. According to the Daily Mail , the intimate photos showing snapshots of her family life and youth have reportedly left the star “angry' and 'upset”. The hackers allegedly accessed the treasured moments through the email of Adele's partner, Simon Konecki , 41. The stolen images show precious moments such as her new-born son wrapped in blankets, pregnancy photos of her in her home and a photo of her as a child sticking her tongue out at the bottom of a playground slide.
A photographer, Mr. Emmanuel Okolo has sued 2face and his wife, Annie Idibia , for a sum N120 Million, before Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High Court in Lagos. Okolo claimed that the sum is damages for copyright violation involving the use of some pictures he took at 2Face’s wedding without making any attribution statement. According to Okolo, who sued alongside his company, Papilonmexy Films Studios Limited , the defendants wrote ‘2faceonline.com’ on 148 out of the 355 high-resolution photographs he took at their wedding. He claimed that 2Face’s wife, Annie Idibia, contacted him to request for the pictures he had taken at their wedding in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State . She soon after complained of the watermark imprint when she received them. 2Face, who is the second defendant then made an attempt to persuade Okolo to release the pictures without the watermark. Law enforcement agencies in Florida, United States , have in recent weeks seen a high increase of emergency calls related to people being slumped over in a stupefied state due to an overdose of Synthetic Marijuana , also known as Spice . Authorities said they have received dozens of calls concerning people, mostly youths, who have had to be rushed to the hospital because of suspected spice use. Tampa medical and law enforcement professionals have given a warning about the dangerous increase in overdoses linked to a bad batch of spice that's being sold.  A photo from the Clearwater Police Department taken at Crest Lake Park showed two people in a head-down position, while one person laid on the ground. They are suspected to have taken an overdose of the substance.
